Call for Papers


The PACIS 2009 Program Committee invites submissions of completed research papers, research-in-progress papers, conference theme papers, research methods papers and teaching cases. PACIS, sponsored by the Association for Information Systems (AIS), is one of its three regional conferences. A premier information systems conference in the Pacific-Asia region, PACIS serves to provide a platform to researchers and practitioners in the field of information technology to share their research findings and practices. The conference theme for PACIS 2009 is IT Services in a Global Environment.

Submission guidelines

  • Download the paper format from here.
     

  • Make sure your paper is formatted as notified in the document.
     

  • The author information should be included only in the final print version of the paper. Place the author information as shown in the above template document. Papers submitted for review MUST be anonymous.
     

  • Go to the Submit Paper page of the website and follow the instructions there to submit your paper.
     

  • It is important that participants maintain integrity in their submissions. Scholars submitting papers to this conference thereby attest that they have read the AIS Code of Research Conduct and that the work submitted by them is in accordance with the Code in all respects. Reviewers of the conference, in case they receive any allegations of plagiarism or other scholarly misconduct proceedings, hold the authority to inform the AIS President who can refer the matter, at his/her discretion, to the AIS Research Conduct Committee.

     

Format Guidelines

  • All English language submissions must be in Microsoft® Word .DOC format
     

  • The text in the Word doc must be formatted as per the template given. Click here to see the template. Files submitted in any other file type or in text format other than the given template will not be reviewed.
     

  • The paper length should be limited to 12 pages in all including the title page and all tables, graphs, etc. and references.
     

  • The paper must be formatted for A4 size portrait page set-up.
     

  • The left, right, top and bottom margins should each be 1 inch.
     

  • Page numbers should not be included.
     

  • All other paragraphs not defined in the template should be formatted as (style) Basic Text.
     

  • Times New Roman Font to be used everywhere in the paper. No other font is to be used anywhere in the paper.
