The Role of Media in taking Brand India beyond Indian Shores


Globalisation presents India with a major challenge: Positioning India in a way that fits competitive global strategy. With the need for strategic positioning, enters the concept of “Brand India”.

Media today is uniquely and strategically placed to showcase the value that Brand India will definitely create.  The growth of various media – internet, print, radio, television, and advertising and of course, Bollywood would only broaden the spectrum. A combination of vision, commitment, patience and conviction would be required in great abundance for Brand India to occupy its place on the global map and Media could be the vehicle in driving the same.

Pursuant to a successful Editors Round Table Conference, the Media Club brings you its mega event of the year, The Media Conclave to discuss this very role that Media will play in the positioning of Brand India and the challenges posed therein.

With the theme, “ The Role of Media in taking Brand India beyond Indian Shores” the Conclave hopes to build perspectives on the importance of Media in catapulting Brand India into the future.
